Wyoming Theater Enriches Cultural Environment

It started in 1923 as the Lotus, a vaudeville theater.

Today, the Wyoming Theater hosts about 25 live performances each year during its season that runs from September to May. The 2008-09 season includes performances from country music star Hal Ketchum as well as the Vienna Boys’ Choir.

The theater closed its doors in 1982 but reopened in 1989 after a complete renovation. Wyoming Theater today is commonly referred to as “The WYO.”
