Coomes Recreation Center Keeps Residents Active and Fit
The Harry L. Coomes Recreation Center has grown to a membership of 2,300 people in its 15 years of existence.
The Abingdon facility still looks as good as it did in 1994 when the doors first opened. Besides its regular membership, the center also welcomes an additional 120,000 daily-fee visitors every year.
