Whether you are looking for a romantic date night or a place to drink your morning coffee, here’s a sampling of some of the local Fayetteville eats that will have you coming back for seconds.

Bordinos

Boasting a high-class menu that complements the restaurant’s hip and posh atmosphere, Bordinos is a place that will continue to wow you even after your fourth or fifth visit. It features innovative dishes like the Ricotta-Chèvre Gnocchi or the Braised Lamb Shank with Herb Spaetzle, and an extensive list of handcrafted cocktails.

J.J.’s Grill of Fayetteville

This come-as-you-are joint is the perfect bar/restaurant where you can let your hair down, sip a beer and enjoy some live music. Don’t let the low-key vibe fool you. The menu is chock-full of good eats, including a huge selection of burgers with toppings such as homemade tater chips and fried jalapenos.  

Mexico Viejo

A family owned restaurant since 2002, Mexico Viejo will quickly become your go-to place when you’re craving the south of the border cuisine. They’ve got all the traditional Mexican dishes, plus some really great drink specials. House margaritas are 50 percent off Monday and Thursday from 5-10 pm.

Sassy’s Red House

This Southern-style BBQ restaurant is serving up slow-cooked meats that you’ll want to sink your teeth into. But the real treat is Sassy’s award-winning BBQ sauces. Don’t miss the original, which was the inspiration behind the restaurant’s creation. Mix this sauce with any one of Sassy’s entrees, and you will surely be in hog heaven.

Tacos 4 Life

Each trip to Tacos 4 Life means you’ll be helping a child in need. This restaurant donates a meal for every one purchased. If that’s not enough of a reason to dine there, one bite into any of their tacos should convince you. Giving back never tasted so good.

Vetro 1925

Set in a renovated old building with exposed brick, Vetro is a fine-dining restaurant that’s perfect when you need a night on the town. You can sip on a glass of Malbec or Chardonnay while savoring one of their authentic Italian dishes, like the Penne all Vodka or Pappardelle Bolognese. Perfetto!
