Located in central North Carolina, the Uwharrie National Forest combines the scenic beauty of nature with fun recreational activities. Badin Lake and Tillery Lake, both located inside the forest, attract a large amount of these eagles every year from December through February. Visitors are encouraged to bring their binoculars to get a look at these fascinating animals.
