Big River Grille and Brewing Works in Chattanooga, TN

Chattanooga, TN has a number of attractions that make it a great place to live or visit. There's a multilevel aquarium, Lookout Mountain, several nearby caves and some pretty cool breweries. If you're a beer lover, here's what you need to know about the Choo-Choo city.

The Terminal Brewhouse has six stable brews that go great with their pizzas, burgers and sandwiches. It's located in a building that dates back to 1909 and served as a hotel for railway passengers. A building next door was used as a speakeasy and casino during prohibition. Terminal Brewhouse makes efforts to conserve water, paper and energy with eco-friendly brewing options. They've even got a green roof that is covered in plants.

Moccasin Bend Brewing Co. is located at the foot of Lookout Mountain, in Chattanooga's historic area, in a historic building that once served as a packaging factory for K-rations during World War II. The brewery has a tasting room where beers can be sampled, but for bottles you'll have to visit the nearby Greenlife Grocery.

With two locations in the city -- one near the Tennessee Aquarium and one close to Hamilton Place Mall -- Big River Grill & Brewing Works offers tasty beer that's always fresh. They provide six signature brews that range from light to dark including the Iron Horse Stout and a house IPA.
