Spring marks the start of some serious sports action in Indianapolis, IN, making it a great time to visit the Circle City. Lots of cultural attractions, great restaurants and entertainment districts create an exciting destination for families looking to fill their spring break with cosmopolitan activities.

While the city's NBA, WNBA and junior ice hockey teams all contend for the playoffs, watching the Pacers play at Bankers Life Fieldhouse gives visitors a sense of the passion this city has for its sports teams. More than 200 restaurants in the downtown area alone shows Indianapolis residents take their food seriously, too. Plenty of restaurants in Indianapolis appeal to parents while also offering special menus and activities to keep kids busy. Speaking of children's activities, allow ample time to tour the all 472,900 square feet of the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, the largest children's museum in the world.
