Don’t Miss Attraction: San Bernardino National Forest

The San Bernardino National Forest spans about 660,000 acres of the San Bernardino Mountains. A preserved area since 1907, the forest has elevations that range from about 1,000 to 11,000 feet, meaning different levels of climbing challenges await every outdoorsy person.

Adventures await all year long in this breathtaking natural area. Hiking is a popular activity in the forest as well as mountain biking, and there are dozens of trails to keep you on your toes.

Even those who are a bit averse to the great outdoors can enjoy the San Bernardino National Forest by taking a drive along Rim of the World Scenic Byway and Palms to Pines Byway, which alllow visitors the beautiful views from the comfort of a car.
