Quality health care is easy to find in Castle Rock, with the community home to several top medical facilities. In addition, Sky Ridge Medical Center is easily accessible in nearby Lone Tree. Here is some background:

Castle Rock Adventist Hospital

A new 50-bed Castle Rock Adventist Hospital is now open on the northeast corner of Meadows Parkway and Prairie Hawk Drive. The hospital offers many medical specialties that are close to home for Castle Rock’s 60,000 residents, including The BirthPlace and The Breast Care Center at Castle Rock. Also on site are an emergency room and imaging center, and Castle Rock Adventist even has a full-service restaurant called Manna that has become very successful.

Sky Ridge Medical Center

In Lone Tree, Sky Ridge Medical Center is a 286-bed hospital with services such as a spine and joint center, Level III nursery, cardiopulmonary center of excellence, sports medicine and rehabilitation, sleep disorders center and wound care center. Sky Ridge Medical features private patient rooms, a Sky Ridge Café, outdoor patio, children’s playground and Pet Partner volunteers.

Sky Ridge Imaging and Cardiac Care

Sky Ridge Imaging Center at Castle Rock offers services such as CT scans, mammograms, MRIs and x-rays, and all medical insurances are accepted. Meanwhile, the Sky Ridge Cath Lab at Sky Ridge Medical Center is considered among the best in Colorado, providing expert minimally invasive heart disease treatment. Services include intra-vascular ultrasounds, heart biopsies, stent interventions, pacemakers and more.

Senior Care

Castle Rock places a priority on care for its senior citizens, and many facilities have opened in recent years. Brookside Inn is a skilled nursing center that provides post-acute rehabilitation services to its residents, while Metzler Memory Care is a retirement community that opened in 2012 and looks after loved ones who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Also helping seniors throughout the region are Castle Country Assisted Living, Home Care Assistance, Sky Cliff Center and Solterra Castle Rock.
