Annual Coats Farmers’ Day and Wagon Train Festival – This annual weekend event includes a golf tournament, tractor show, competitions, a turkey shoot, a gospel sing, food, a kids’ park, antique cars, crafts, a street dance and more. Known as the oldest farmers’ day in the region, the 2013 event is October 12 on Main Street.
Sandhills Antique Farm Show – Held annually at the Sandhills Antique Farm Equipment Club park in Lillington in March. Demonstrations, antique farm equipment and horse activities spotlight farm life of days gone by.
Lillington Fall Festival – Planned for September 21, 2013, this free annual festival, hosted by the Lillington Chamber of Commerce, offers food, arts, crafts, live music and children’s activities.
Touchstone Energy NC Cotton Festival – The annual fall wingding is held the first weekend in November in downtown Dunn. Good food, vendors, entertainment, a car show and more.
Boogie on Broad – A free concert series includes four Thursday nights from April-October on Broad Street in Dunn. Food, line dancing, kids’ activities and more are on tap.
Crepe Myrtle Celebration – The 40th annual event is scheduled for September 14, 2013 at Depot Square in downtown Angier. Family festival offers food, entertainment, arts and crafts, rides, games and demonstrations.
Angier Bike Fest – This family-friendly motorcycle festival celebrates its 12th year June 1, 2013. It includes a bike show, live entertainment, fund-raising poker run, food, vendors, and a motorcycle consignment auction.
Harnett Regional Agricultural Fair – Scheduled for September 25-28, 2013, it features competitions, beauty contests, livestock and skills contests, rides, food vendors, a 4-H tent, large and small animal events.
Denim Days – Held annually during the first weekend of October, this event commemorates Erwin’s one-time title as the Denim Capital of the World. It includes a parade, performances, food and craft vendors, a cutest-baby contest, vintage cars, rides, slides and carnival games.
