Anderson Creek Golf Club

Professional golfer Davis Love III designed Anderson Creek. The 7,180-yard, par-72 layout was rated four and a half stars by Golf Digest in 2008, thanks to amenities that include rolling fairways, longleaf pine trees and well-manicured greens.

Keith Hills I and II

Both of the Keith Hills courses are owned by local Campbell University and are home to their Fighting Camels golf teams. The courses are ranked among the best in North Carolina for their mix of challenging holes, plush fairways and large bent grass greens.

Pine Burr Golf Course

This 18-hole, par-72 course in Lillington stretches 6,537 yards from the longest tees. Pine Burr opened in 1967 and is known for its scenic beauty that includes water, wide fairways and tall trees.

Carolina Lakes Golf Club

This public course in Sanford is a challenging venue that places great emphasis on shot placement. Carolina Lakes is not overly long, which makes it fun and playable for golfers of all skill levels.

Hidden Valley Country Club

The Willow Springs 18-hole public course has four sets of tee boxes for the enjoyment of any golfer. The back tees play 6,564 yards for a par 72. Hidden Valley was built in 1974 and green fees range from $26 to $32.

Sandy Ridge Country Club

This public course in Dunn has wide fairways and water that comes into play on seven holes. Senior citizens like the course because it is fairly short and easy to walk. Par is 72 and Sandy Ridge measures 6,379 yards.

Chicora Golf Club

The 18-hole course in Dunn is a 6,376-yard, par-71 layout that offers a fun but challenging golfing experience. Chicora opened in 1952 and green fees range from $22 to $32.
