Think Panama's all about the party? Think again. This city holds enough attractions to keep guests of all ages happy. First and foremost, there's the beach. Panama City's beaches have been attracting Spring-Break goers and families alike for years, with no signs of slowing down. But residents looking to bypass the Spring Break crowd can take refuge in the expansive Shell Island, a 700-acre wildlife sanctuary. But the fun doesn't end at the seashore; thanks to a city-led initiative, Panama City's downtown area has seen a revival in business and tourism. Now, the streets are lined with antique stores, home décor and ladies boutiques that bring a small-town charm to the otherwise glitzy Panama City. Of course, it wouldn't quite be Panama without the glitz, and when the sun goes down the city's bright night lights turn on.
