Franklin TN Downtown Main Street Festival

Franklin’s Main Street Festival is a great way to spend a weekend. More than 200 artists and crafters, three stages, two carnivals and two food courts bring the community together for family fun and entertainment.

The annual, free festival is held the last weekend in April at the historic Public Square and Downtown District in Franklin, and includes activities for the entire family, musical performances and food from more than 20 vendors.

Celebrating the Arts

If you are interested in art, visit the crafts shows where options range from paintings and pottery to photography and birdhouses. First through Fifth Avenues are lined with arts and crafts booths for your shopping pleasure.

However, if you are lead by your taste buds, follow them to the food courts. Some examples include roasted corn on the cob, stuffed baked potatoes, Polish sausage, Greek gyros, ice cream and many more.

Musicians and local schools provide ongoing entertainment on the three stages, and don’t miss the traditional carnival that opens before the festival begins and runs through the weekend.
