Franklin, TN Transportation: Trolley Service
The Franklin Trolley system makes it simple -- and eco-friendly -- to get around town. The city of Franklin and the Franklin Transit Authority began the commuter service in May 2003‚ and today more than 350 shops are now accessible from four trolley lines featuring state-of-the-art vehicles operating on clean-burning, bio-diesel fuel. Trolleys run Monday-Friday from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. On Saturdays‚ they operate from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
