Bring the family to the World of Wonder Community Playground at Southeast Clarke Park to enjoy a day full of outdoor fun in Athens.

The playground was built in 2004 by 1,500 volunteers. The two-acre play area is Georgia's largest volunteer built park. Family activities are plentiful from the Tot Lot, which is an enclosed area designated especially for 2-5-year-old children, to the pavilions that make for the perfect picnic or birthday party spot.

There are walking trails, climbing walls, mazes, swing sets, tunnels, castles and even a dragon. Kids will love the garden area and outdoor children's art.

The World of Wonder Community Playground is located at the Whit Davis entrance to the Southeast Clarke Park. The park and playground are open seven days a week during daylight hours.
