Glasgow is the county seat of Barren County, and is well known for its annual Scottish Highland Games. The city’s economy is fueled by agriculture and manufacturing, and the county remains one of the state’s top producers of milk, burley tobacco, hay and cattle. Mammoth Cave National Park and a number of parks and trails provide plenty of places to explore.
