Mercy Medical Center – Des Moines

One of the Midwest's largest referral centers, Mercy Medical Center – Des Moines has more than 800 beds and is an acute care, not-for-profit Catholic hospital with three campuses. U.S. News & World Report named this center the Best Hospital in the Des Moines metro area due to its excellent performance in nephrology, cancer and gynecology treatments.

Iowa Health – Des Moines

Iowa Health – Des Moines is the parent company of four different hospitals: Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Blank Children’s Hospital and Methodist West Hospital. More than 200 primary care physicians can be found in 50 Iowa Health Physicians and Clinics offices.

Iowa Health hospitals have won numerous awards and recognition, including a three-star rating from UnitedHealth for total joint replacement care, and Iowa Methodist Center and Blank Children’s Hospital have been awarded the Medal of Honor for Organ Donation from the Department of Health and Human Services.
