Jason Zasky

Jason Zasky is an editor, writer, author and media entrepreneur with a background in print, online and custom magazines, as well as other forms of new and traditional media. Most notably, he is co-founder and editor of Failure magazine, a unique, critically acclaimed online publication that covers the subject of failure, as well as failure’s close relative, success.  However, he also contributes to a diverse array of national magazines and occasionally ghostwrites a book – or edits one.

When he’s not writing or editing, Jason serves as a media analyst and spokesman, having appeared on outlets such as CNN, NPR, CBC RadioOne and South Africa National Radio. He also enjoys guest lecturing at journalism schools and one day hopes to teach a seminar on how to conduct effective interviews.

For his part, Jason’s interview credits include Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, the late author Chinua Achebe, writer Malcolm Gladwell, and music artists Sheryl Crow and Metallica.

Jason has a J.D. from Arizona State University’s College of Law, where he earned CALI awards for Entertainment Law and Death Penalty law. Follow Jason on Twitter @jasonzasky.
