The summer game has a home in Kannapolis.

The Kannapolis Intimidators, the Single A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, play in the South Atlantic League. The circuit is one of the biggest geographically in Minor League Baseball, including seven states spanning from New Jersey to Georgia. The Intimidators play in the Northern Division of the league.

The team plays 140 games in the regular season and welcomes 13 different major league affiliated teams to Kannapolis, NC.

The team plays its home games at 4,700-seat Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium, a 4,700-seat facility that features six luxury suites with an elevated view of the field.

"The Cannon" also has two concession stands, press box and clubhouses, a souvenir store (Intimidation Station), a playground area (The Pit Stop Playground), and various games and displays.
