About a half a mile away from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, Kenner’s Rivertown is a walkable 16-block historic district found next to the Mississippi River. This district is packed with an array of arts and culture attractions, as well as family-friendly educational opportunities.

Rivertown is home to the Rivertown Repertory Theatre Guild, which puts on productions that often win local Big Easy Awards. The district has multiple museums including the Mardi Gras Museum and Cannes Brulees Native American Museum that give visitors a peek into Louisiana's past.

Kids are sure to love Rivertown’s planetarium and space station. The Kenner Planetarium & Megadome Cinema and Space Station Kenner bring a bit of the great beyond to the area with informative and exciting displays.
