Manhattan, KS
Manhattan is located in northeastern Kansas, about two hours west of Kansas City. Settled in 1855, the city is home to Fort Riley and Kansas State University. Though the university plays a big role in the city's economy, Manhattan was recently noted as one of the Top 10 Places to Retire by Money magazine.
