Palace Playland is one of the oldest and the last sea-side amusement park in New England, dating back to 1902. When the amusement park first opened, it was a simple site for roller skating, lemonade and salt-water taffy. Over the years, it grew in size and popularity.

Today, the attraction has a lot to offer. A 24,000-square-foot arcade is in the center, complete with more than 200 games. A newly built Ferris wheel stands tall on the edge of the park, and a palm reader is on call to predict your future. Scattered throughout the park are rides, eateries and gift shops.

During peak season, Palace Playland opens at 11 a.m. during the weekends and noon during the week. Don’t forget to check out their fireworks every Thursday night and their special Fourth of July event.
