The Mt. Juliet, TN real estate market has the houses, price ranges and atmosphere to make everyone feel right at home, plus the appeal of a small town where people still wave to each other. As a result, population growth has exploded. Mt. Juliet has been one of Tennessee’s fastest-growing cities in recent years. In 2006, 19,193 people lived in the city. That number is now above 25,000 and growing constantly.

There’s no shortage of fine homes to accommodate the influx. Living options range from one-bedroom apartments to single-family homes, townhomes and retirement communities. 
 
The cost of living in Mt. Juliet is much lower than in comparable areas, further increasing its appeal. There are more than 60 subdivisions existing and under construction within the city. Here is a summary of various parts of the city, with a sampling of neighborhoods in each.
Providence Marketplace Area Homes
Some of the most notable newer subdivisions are near the Providence Marketplace complex on the south side of town, including Providence, Lake Providence, Oak Point Reserve and Timber Trail. The 1,000-acre-plus Providence is closest to the complex, and includes everything from single-family homes and townhomes to apartments, with shared amenities such as a pool and biking trails. Lake Providence is a Del Webb active-adult community for residents age 55 or older, and has its own 15-acre lake, clubhouse and fitness facilities, among other amenities.
 
South Mt. Juliet Homes and Subdivisions
Near Providence, Timber Trail consists of 220 single-family units, a saltwater pool, ponds, fountains, common and natural areas and a playground. And convenient to Providence but just remote enough to feel like a retreat unto itself, the Oak Point Reserve community and its 58 homes are surrounded by a nature reserve with a walking trail for peaceful creekside strolls. 
 
Gladeville Area Homes
Just southeast of Mt. Juliet, the Gladeville community offers more rural living options, with many homes situated on multiacre lots. In addition, there are several existing subdivisions, such as Stonefield, Hawthorne Valley and Ashwood.
 
West Mt. Juliet Area Homes
Willoughby Station, just west of the city center off of Division Street, will eventually reach to 750 homes on its 300 acres. Among the neighborhood's most popular attractions are its two pools, where swim meets are held in the summer. Willoughby Station is a popular choice for buyers looking for an existing home, leading other subdivisions in that regard.
Old Hickory Lake Area and Northwest Mt. Juliet Homes
Many Mt. Juliet residents enjoy homes with proximity to Old Hickory Lake. Subdivisions such as The Oaks of Lake View, Sunset Harbor, Walker Hills and Hickory Isle are just minutes away from a relaxing day of fishing, swimming, picnicking and other outdoor fun. Lake property is in high demand, and new development continues close to the lake, such as the Carriage Trail development, which offers new construction, "affordable luxury homes" starting at approximately $160,000. The Windtree Trace neighborhood, located off of Nonaville Road, is just a few minutes away from the pristine golf course of the same name. 
 
In addition, the Cambridge Crossing and Cambridge Woods neighborhoods, located just off of North Greenhill Road, are popular for low-density development, all-custom homes and scenic lots on historic property. The land once was a farm founded in 1845 by Richard Smith, who was formerly the overseer for The Hermitage, home of U.S. President Andrew Jackson.
Northeast Mt. Juliet Homes
Several subdivisions are located along the Interstate 70/Lebanon Road corridor that runs along the northern portion of Mt. Juliet. Notable subdivisions east of the North Mt. Juliet Road corridor include Saddle Wood, Park Glen and Parrish Place. These subdivisions are in proximity to the Mt. Juliet Little League Park.
