In addition, Hillcrest keeps residents on top of health-care topics through regular classes and special events.

Rogers County is also the site of Claremore Indian Hospital, a government-owned and -operated facility that provides inpatient and outpatient care through nine organized clinical services, and the Oklahoma Veterans Center.

For urgent-care needs, there are multiple facilities in Claremore: Access Medical Centers on South Highway 66 and Blue Starr Drive, St. John Clinic Urgent Care on Falcon Avenue and Urgent Care of Green Country.

Senior Care & Retirement Centers

Seniors in Claremore have excellent options for residency when living at home is no longer practical. The town has a couple of well-established senior living facilities and communities.

Brookdale Claremore on North Highway 88 offers personalized assisted living, as well as Alzheimer’s and dementia care. It’s designed for seniors who need assistance with daily living matters such as medication management, dressing and bathing.

Avondale Estates, a senior living community on North Sioux Avenue, features multiple floor plans and quality amenities. The community participates in the Housing Choice Voucher program, designed to maintain affordable housing for residents. Other places for senior care include Autum Wood Manor and Claremore Village Apartment Community.

Claremore Recreation Center

Whether it’s playing basketball in one of the gyms, working out in the fitness center or taking aerobics classes in the pool, the city-owned Claremore Recreation Center is available for all ages and fits most anyone's schedule and needs.

The 80,000-square-foot facility, which opened in 1999 and is operated by the Claremore Parks & Recreation Department, includes an indoor pool, two gymnasiums, two tennis courts, and an indoor track and fitness room, among other features.
