Princeton, NJ Activities Overview: Parks, Golf Courses

Parks
When the weather is warm, Princeton residents run to several nearby parks including Community Park North, D&R Canal, Herrontown Woods and Turning Basin Park. Community Park North encompasses 71 acres and offers walking trails, wildlife and picnic areas as well as an amphitheater, ice skating and fishing. D&R Canal is a state park that provides a boat rental and launch area, fishing and walking trails. Herrontown Woods is a county park that comprises more than 142 acres and features an arboretum, walking trails and wildlife. Turning Basin Park includes several sporting fields, a boat rental and launch area, and a playground.

Golf
Princeton is home to several popular 18-hole golf courses including TPC at Jasna Polana, Mercer Oaks West, Mercer Oaks East, Springdale Golf Club and Bunker Hill Golf Course. TPC at Jasna Polana is a private, PGA-quality course covering 7,098 yards for a par of 72. Mercer Oaks West is a public course spanning 7,053 yards with a par of 72. Mercer Oaks East is a public course stretching over 7,182 yards for a par of 72. Springdale Golf Club is a private course that spans 6,380 yards with a par of 71. Bunker Hill Golf Course is a public course covering 5,965 yards for a par of 72.
