Southern Oak Harbor

The south side of the city is a great place for families with children of all ages. Some neighborhoods within the area include Penn Cove Park, Swantown and Pioneer Way. Though Pioneer Way is the center for shopping in the city, it’s also a prime spot for families.

Northern Oak Harbor

The northern parts of Oak Harbor cater more to the young, single crowd. Though many families make their homes north of the city center, most of the residents in this area are young, unmarried business workers. The residential areas include Deception Pass, the city’s center, and the Silver Lake Road neighborhood.
