In Provo, UT, football is a staple of Timpview High School athletics, with seven state championships since 1986. In November 2009, they won the state title for a Utah-record fourth straight year. The Thunderbirds began a winning streak after the third game of the 2006 season, and the streak was still intact throughout 2010.
