Pueblo is home to many types of successful businesses, from a world famous sports organization to traditional steel suppliers, and a high quality of life and excellent climate beckon more.

Major Employers and Other Notable Companies

Convergys – a NYSE-listed company that helps businesses enhance the value of their customer relationships and deliver consistent customer experiences across all channels – has an office in Pueblo, one of four locations in Colorado. And Innotrac Corp., which provides fulfillment services for global brands and their customers, has an 87,000-square-foot, 430-seat Customer Care Center in the city.

For its part, nationally-recognized Mission Foods operates a plant in Pueblo, one that manufactures corn and wheat tortillas on a round-the-clock basis.

Trane Company, a world leader in air conditioning systems, services and solutions, also maintains a presence in town, as does Vestas Wind Systems, a Denmark-based company which produces technologically advanced wind turbines that “generate not only power but the desired return on investment.”

Last but certainly not least, the city is home to Pueblo Diversified Industries, which offers a variety of employment opportunities and life enrichment programs to physically and mentally challenged individuals.

Professional Bull Riders Inc.

In 2007, Professional Bull Riders Inc. moved its multi-million-dollar world headquarters from Colorado Springs to the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk, a 32-acre “urban waterfront experience” that includes both corporate offices and retail space. Since then, the sport of professional bull riding has grown exponentially, earning national television coverage on CBS and the CBS Sports Network and bringing newfound recognition to Pueblo.

Steel City

EVRAZ Pueblo (formerly known as the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company) is a specialty product mini-mill that produces seamless pipe as well as rail, rod and coiled reinforcing bar, and semi-finished products made to customer specifications.

Midwest Fabrication & Steel is a third-generation, family-owned business that has produced structural steel components for over 85 years. It has supplied steel for U.S. aircraft carriers and destroyers, as well as the Royal Gorge Bridge—the world’s highest suspension bridge, located in nearby Cañon City.

Pueblo Economic Development Corporation

A private, not-for-profit organization, the Pueblo Economic Development Corporation works to promote the Pueblo area to relocating or expanding businesses. In addition, PEDCO strives to grow Pueblo’s business and industrial base and create primary jobs for the community.

Transportation Assets

Pueblo Memorial Airport (PUB) offers nonstop service to Denver, which then connects to more than 160 destinations.
Travelers who fly from PUB enjoy the convenience of parking just steps from the terminal and avoiding the big-city traffic and long security lines in Denver.

Minnequa Park

This 4,700-acre industrial park is located south of Pueblo, adjacent to Interstate 25 and rail lines operated by Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe. Created by PEDCO, Minnequa Park has been a welcome addition to the community, supplementing the area’s available industrial space.
