Downtown Shopping

Downtown Sumter serves as Sumter's central location for entertainment, however shoppers will find pleasure in walking the historic area and visiting the 30 plus shops and boutiques.

If blocks of shops are not your thing, visit Sumter Mall on Broad Street. The mall features JCPenney, Sykes, Sears and Belk, and dozens of specialty shops. Some popular stores include Just Casual, Bath & Body Works and Kay Jewelers, and there are salons and restaurants if you need a quick break. Many stores in the mall offer military discounts every day, and the mall offers monthly events for the family.

Outdoor Shopping Centers

Westmark is a newer development, but still offers plenty of stores and places to dine. Further south, there's Palmetto Plaza and Savannah Plaza Shopping Centers, both of which offer a variety of large multifunctional stores such as Big Lots and Walmart.
