The Ark-Tex region boasts a top-notch workforce, and one reason why is Texas A&M University-Texarkana, which continues to build programs as well as a new campus.
Comprised of two cities, one in the northeast corner of Texas and the other tucked in the southwest corner of Arkansas, Texarkana's unique location allows it to operate as a single city, though each side retains its own mayor and city council. The community is led by an active agricultural industry, and recreation opportunities include the Wildscape Trail and Tex-Ark Antique Auto Museum.
