A hike through Crockett Park will satisfy on many levels, whether you're a looking for a playground to entertain all ages or a simple stroll through the woods.

Sprawling across 164 acres, Crockett is Brentwood's largest park. Sports fans can take advantage of its tennis courts and baseball/softball diamonds, while the extensive biking and hiking trails provide the perfect landscape for a day outdoors.   Kids have their own place to play at the park's impressive wooden playground. They can enjoy all the usuals – slides, swings, and towers – while their parents take shelter at the well-shaded picnic tables.   Crockett Park also hosts the popular Concert in the Park series. The free concert is held Sunday evenings from May to July at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheatre. The concerts are open to the public and feature performances by the Nashville Symphony, the Brentwood Band and various other artists throughout the season. It's also the site of the annual Fourth of July fireworks display in Brentwood.   Even if the concerts aren't for you, with Crockett's open spaces, lengthy trails and first-rate sports complexes, you'll surely find something to do. Read about more Brentwood, TN outdoor activities.
