University Medical Center
Lebanon’s only hospital is University Medical Center. Accredited by the Chest Pain Center and Joint Commission, the hospital has almost 250 beds and more than 270 physicians on staff. About 900 employees work at University Medical Center, and it is one of Wilson County’s top employers.
Clinics and Centers
Lebanon is also home to several clinics and centers. Two of the clinics, Vanderbilt Heart Lebanon and Saint Thomas Heart, specialize in cardiology.
Vanderbilt Heart Lebanon provides patients with an array of cardiac tests and services including nuclear imaging, stress tests and echocardiograms.
Saint Thomas Heart specializes in new heart treatments that are surgical or nonsurgical. The most common procedures they perform include angioplasty and valve replacements.
Summit Medical Center is another health-care facility in Lebanon. Mammograms and bone density screenings are just some of the services patients can find.
