Murfreesboro's Bark Park is a great place for Fido to frisk and play. Its well-kept, leashless enclosures include separate areas for large and small dogs and a water spigot for parched pooches.

Bark Park is located at the General Bragg Trailhead of Murfreesboro's gorgeous Greenway park system. The trail that winds closest to the Bark Park skirts a creek where the water is still enough for a doggy dip. Per Greenway rules, dogs should remain on a long leash while they splash around.

Each November the Bark Park hosts Barkaroo, the Middle Tennessee Dog Festival. Events include the crowning of Mr. and Miss Barkaroo, talent shows and the Dog-Gone Benefit Walk where money for improvements to the dog park is raised.
