Traverse City, MI is a great city for book lovers.
What this city lacks in store numbers (it has three) it more than makes up for in quality. Horizon Books, the local literary claim to fame, is a multistory affair. The Rise and Shine Cafe fills floor one, with a coffee shop up top, and the bookstore sitting snug in between. So while Traverse City may not offer too many options for bookstore seekers, it's got the one, and it does the one well.
