Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444-mile road that stretches from Natchez, MS, to Nashville, TN. The only visitors center on the long and winding road is in Tupelo at milepost 266, and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
A four-time All America City winner, Tupelo combines small-town living with easily accessible festivals and outdoor experiences including the picturesque Natchez Trace Parkway. The Tupelo Public School District provides the community with educational excellence, validated by seven National Blue Ribbon School awards. Known as the birthplace of Elvis Presley, the shotgun house where he was born is the centerpiece of the city's tourism industry.
