American Freedom Museum in Tyler, TX

The American Freedom Museum in Tyler offers visitors a chance to step back in time and experience America’s rich history. This 15,000 square foot facility transports visitors to the very beginnings of American history through the display of over 600 documents and artifacts.

Encounter pieces of the past in the Hall of Freedom, featuring exhibits covering every major American military conflict since the Revolutionary War, from a musket used in the Battle of Lexington to the uniform of a soldier killed in action in Afghanistan. Get up close and personal with America’s chief executives in the museum’s Hall of Presidents as you browse hundreds of personal documents and artifacts from Washington to Obama. Take part in helping the American Freedom Museum honor current and former military service members by purchasing a plaque to be placed on the Veterans’ Wall, located just outside the museum’s entrance.
