The North Platte River provides an ideal channel for some of the water’s greatest adventures in Casper, WY. From fly-fishing and kayaking to extreme white water rafting, the possibilities are endless on the expanses of this more than 122-mile tributary of the Platte River.

The Platte River Parkway White Water Park is a collection of five man-made structures on the North Platte that creates adrenaline-pumping white-water courses for the thrill-seekers. Flotation rentals are available to take a relaxing trip down the calmer waters, or watch the splendor of the river while walking the many paths along the banks.

The North Platte River is a classified blue-ribbon trout fishery, attracting fishermen across the nation to experience the abundance of award-winning wild trout. Two campgrounds, Corral Creek and Bennett Peak, are available for an overnight stay in the majesty of the Casper wilderness. Coral Creek has no charge and Bennett Peak costs $10 per night with access to a boat ramp.
