Entering your prized pig or your best jar of marmalade preserves is all part of the annual Campbell County Fair in Gillette. The first fair dates back to 1920. This annual summer event usually takes place in late July at CAM-PLEX.

Each fair offers a rodeo, major concert as well as free stage entertainment, plus a variety of exhibits displayed in Energy Hall. And of course, there are best-of animal competitions in categories such as beef, sheep, poultry, rabbit, cat, dog, dairy cattle, dairy goat, horse and swine.
