Yacht Club on College

Food trucks have become all the rage among foodies. In Fayetteville, the Yacht Club on College, “a gathering of mobile vendors,” doesn’t disappoint. The collective includes Natural State Sandwiches, which specializes in Pittsburgh style sandwiches; Zuppa Zuppa Soup Kitchen; Kona Coast taco stand and Reno’s Smoked Meats.

Slim Chickens

With four locations around Fayetteville, this Southern franchise truly captures the soulful nature of the region, while taking the chicken tender to a whole other level. The hand-breaded tenders and wings at Slim Chickens are cooked fresh and served with dipping sauces and fries or atop a heap of waffles.

Grub’s Bar and Grille

The original Grub’s opened in downtown Fayetteville in 2001 and quickly became a staple among University of Arkansas students, earning a reputation by locals for having the best burger in town. Since then, Grub’s has expanded to include three addition locations in northwest Arkansas.

Ella’s Restaurant 

Ella’s Restaurant in the historic Inn at Carnall Hall on the University of Arkansas campus serves up a side of history along with its eclectic menu and robust wine list. Built in 1906 and named for Miss Ella Howison Carnall, an associate professor of English from 1881-84, Carnall Hall was the state’s first dorm for women. Today, chef Jonathan Morrow sources ingredients from local farmers and ranchers.

Noodles Italian Kitchen

This family owned and operated restaurant opened in 1999 and has flourished in Fayetteville. Noodles owners pride themselves on offering authentic Italian dishes, including marinara sauce made from roma tomatoes imported from the San Marzen Valley in Italy and Alfredo sauce made to order.

Original a Taste of Thai

This casual dining restaurant offers a delicious tour of Thailand with favorites, such as Pad Phet, Thai Basil and Laab, as well as vegan, gluten-free and allergy-friendly selections.

Damgoode Pies

The Northwest Arkansas pizzeria and taproom was named Best Pizza in a Arkansas Times readers poll in 2014 for its menu of signature double crust, stuffed pizzas. Damgoode also offers a diverse selection of its own brewed beers on tap, including winners of the brewhouse’s home brew competitions.
