Across the river from Scottsdale’s downtown, Fashion Square is the most popular shopping district in Scottsdale. Though most fashion can be found here, the Scottsdale Quarter is a growing focus in the city.
Fashion Square is the downtown shopping area, populated with stores, shops and restaurants, perfect for a day of indulgence. Made up of a total of four different districts, all within walking distance, Fashion Square includes more than 225 retailers. Shoppers will find the largest Dillard's in the country, Neiman Marcus, the first Nordstrom and more.
The Fashion Square Mall is one of the largest malls in the country. It offers a wide range of shopping choices, including brand names like Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo and Louis Vuitton.
Directly across the canal from Fashion Square, the Waterfront District of Scottsdale offers its own unique shopping experience. The Waterfront is a city project to revitalize the downtown/canal areas and has resulted in a 1-million-square-foot district complete with restaurants, salons and shops, conveniently located along the canal near other shopping districts.
The Southbridge District, including Scottsdale 5th Avenue and located just west of the Waterfront, offers an all-day outing for its visitors with brand-name shops, as well as small local boutiques, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Some of the small shops and boutiques include Lillian Lottie Couture, the Velvet Antler and Russian Oasis.
Located 20 minutes north of Fashion Square, the Scottsdale Quarter dominates the shopping scene in the Pinnacle Peak neighborhood. The Quarter offers a variety of brand-name stores, restaurants and nightclubs. Unlike the downtown shopping districts, however, the Quarter is nearer to the desert, making shopping excursions a serene experience.
