To us, Fargo is the kind of place you want to be if you’re starting out with little money. First things first: It’s the number 1 city for affordable housing on this list. It’s in the top 5 for jobs, and the top 10 for most small business loans. Throw in one of the lowest commute times on this list (top 5 for this stat), and what else do you really need when starting a business? We should also mention we named it a Top 100 Best Place to Live for three years so far, a Top 10 Downtown in 2015 and a Best City for Beer 2015.
