Moscow ID

#32. Moscow

The statement we can make about Moscow is that it’s on the rise. Out of the 50 cities on this list, it ranks number 1 in growth of high paying jobs, and in the top 10 for household income growth. At the same time, Moscow is also highly affordable, ranking number 2 out of the 50 for per capita spending on food, and number 2 in terms of affordable housing. Commute time is one of the biggest dings to livability, and Moscow stands out from the rest in that residents have the second lowest commute time to work on this list. Did we also mention it’s a college town – University of Idaho? It’s been ranked on our 10 Best College Towns and 10 Best Cities for Singles.
