#25. Warrenville
Warrenville, Ill., is a bit of a cheat. Our requirement of “two breweries in town” is met by a Rock Bottom, which is a chain and therefore isn’t quite in the spirit of “local.” However, Two Brothers Brewing Co., founded in 1996, has such a fine tradition of American craft brewing that it deserves to put Warrenville on our map. Brewed out of this western Chicago suburb, its signature Cane and Ebel (a pair of famous brothers and a nod to owners Jim and Jason Ebel) is a hoppy red rye beer that earns a 99 from our friends at RateBeer.com.
