Founded way back in 1700, Framingham, Mass., is often on “Best Places to Live” lists in many publications, and the city features three colleges led by Framingham State University. The local economy is largely based on education, retail and office complexes, and a brewing element continues to grow. Hotspots include John Harvard’s Brew House, Framingham Beer Works and Jack’s Abby, which offers selections like Hopstitution and Lager Ness Monster.
