The largest city in North Dakota is Fargo, situated on the Red River and home to North Dakota State University. A vigorous economy is based on food processing, health care, higher education, manufacturing, retail and technology, and a half-dozen breweries are enjoying prosperity. Venues have names like Drekker Brewing Co., Granite City Food & Brewery and Fargo Brewing Co. that produces Iron Horse Pale Ale, which one RateBeer reviewer described as having a "wafting citrus nose."
