Greenville, S.C., is a charm-packed delight located along the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Go on a wild mouse hunt through picturesque downtown Greenville, where bronze mice statues peek quietly out from their Main Street hiding places. Begin your search on North Main and explore Greenville’s music and arts scene while searching for the adorable creatures as you tour the town. To help with the search, pick up Greenville’s own Mice on Main storybook at several area retailers.

Each May the town of Greenville hosts a celebration of all things art during the Artisphere Festival. The three-day event takes place May 11-13, 2012. It includes art exhibits, live performances, a kids zone, crafts and a cafe.

Get out and enjoy Greenville’s lakes, rivers, waterfalls, trails and picnic areas, and don’t miss Liberty Bridge, a 355-foot pedestrian walkway overlooking the historic waterfalls nestled in the heart of downtown. Just a short drive from Greenville is Caesars Head State Park, which offers amazing views from a granite outcropping.

For sports action, head to Fluor Field, home to the Greenville Drive, a class-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Take advantage of special offers on Family FUNday Sunday or $1 drinks on Thursdays.

Walk on the wild side at the Greenville Zoo, where admission is only $8.50 for adults and $4.50 for kids over three. Open seven days a week, the zoo features hundreds of wildlife from all over the world.
