Founded in 1799 and located just south of Nashville, Franklin has expanded its population more than fivefold since 1980, which has resulted in attracting many businesses to this picturesque city.

The median family income here is about $100,000, and Franklin is known for excellent secondary schools within the Williamson County School District and the Franklin Special School District.
