#25. Pullman, WA

Best known as home to Washington State University, the median age in this tight-knit college town is 23 years-old. Several restaurants, boutiques and entertainment venues cater to students and keep the town feeling fun and youthful.

Nicknamed “The Lentil Capital,” Pullman is a thriving agricultural hub, producing wheat, barley and (you guessed it!) lentils. In addition to the acres of farmland, the community has prioritized green space, constructing 17 parks and 15 miles of pathways. Livability amenities within the city include Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport and Pullman Regional Hospital, and Pullman High School is rated among the top public schools in America.
