Parks and Recreation
For a dose of green space, residents visit any of six city parks, picnic on covered tables, and play on playgrounds and tennis and volleyball courts. The beautiful Alhambra Golf Course has bunkers, lakes and tree-lined fairways.

The city loves to celebrate, and the San Gabriel Valley Lunar New Year Festival on Valley Boulevard is an annual tradition that draws thousands. Taste of Alhambra offers the food and spirits of local restaurateurs. Monthly First Fridays street festivals take place at Renaissance Plaza.
The city’s numerous clubs keep things exciting after dark every night of the year. An elegant venue for dancing is The Granada LA. Other local favorites include Azul Ultra Lounge and Havana House Cigars & Lounge. Movie-lovers catch the latest Hollywood releases in digital and IMAX 3D at Edwards Renaissance Stadium 14 theater.
Food and Dining
Main Street downtown has an international smorgasbord of cuisine, from Charlie’s Trio Café to Mahan Indian Restaurant, Wahib’s Middle East Restaurant to Toro’s Sushi. Twohey’s (pronounced 2ees) – home of the iconic Little Stink-O – is an old-fashioned diner that’s been around for 70 years. Likewise, Fosselman’s Ice Cream Co. is a long-standing local favorite.
Downtown Alhambra offers plenty of shopping as well, with numerous boutiques and a farmers market on Sundays. Asian markets and shops line Valley Boulevard, and car buyers find their bliss on Alhambra’s Auto Row.
