The Gardens at Heather Farm provide a beautifully unique horticultural experience just outside of downtown Walnut Creek. Located on six acres, the gardens exist to inspire and educate the community on effective gardening methods and the importance of protecting the environment. By visiting one of the 24 demonstration gardens and learning centers scattered throughout the gardens or by taking part in a garden tour, visitors are sure to enjoy the scenic beauty all around them. Many take advantage of this natural beauty and have their wedding or special event at the Gardens at Heather Farm. Education is also a big part of what goes on at the gardens, with adult classes and youth educational programs available throughout the year. The gardens are open daily during daylight hours and annual memberships are available.
