Boomerang Links and Highland Hills are both public, 18-hole courses that include driving ranges, while the Greeley Country Club is a private facility that requires players to have a membership before playing their 18-hole course. The country club also includes a clubhouse, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a splash park and wading pool for toddlers, five tennis courts, two pickleball courts and two racquetball courts.

6. Parks

Greeley lays claim to more than 30 parks within its city limits, each one offering a mix of amenities like playgrounds, skate parks, walking paths, playing fields and basketball courts. One of the city’s most popular parks is Bittersweet Park, which has a large body of water and a concrete walking path stretching just over a mile. Other favorite destinations are Glenmere Park, Sanborn Park and the 145-acre Island Grove Regional Park.

7. Poudre River Trail

One of the most beautiful places to enjoy the great outdoors in Greeley, the Poudre River Trail is ideal for activities such as walking, biking and rollerblading. The wide, paved trail covers 21 miles and stretches from Greeley’s Island Grove Regional Park to Colorado Highway 392 in Windsor.

8. Pawnee National Grassland
